Acetylglucosamine supports the management of pain, swelling and stiffness and is more efficient than the commonly used glucosamine because glucosamine must first be converted by the body to acetylglucosamine before being active. Acetylglucosamine is one of the 8 essential amino sugars in the body; it is the building block for hyaluronic acid and a crucial element for the biosynthesis of glycoaminoglycans necessary for the synthesis of bone, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues.

Sodium hyaluronic acid functions in the joint as a shock absorber and lubricant. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the synthesis of proteoglycans, the main factor of cartilage elasticity. We chose a molecular size that is better absorbed into the body and has been shown to migrate effectively to the joint.

Two different collagen peptides are added. Seventy percent of cartilage is made up of collagen. Research with these peptides showed improvement in flexibility and vitality. They meet the increased need for nutrients for the musculoskeletal system under heavy load and in the growth phase.

FLEX PLATINUM  is an even stronger version of the successful product FLEX by GOLDMEDICS, which produces an even faster effect on somewhat more severe mobility problems. In addition to the ingredients of FLEX by GOLDMEDICS, FLEX PLATINUM also contains EPA and DHA, Boswellia and extra Hyaluronic acid.

In dogs, one usually finds relative deficiencies in omega 3 fatty acids, mainly EPA and DHA, and therefore an unfavorable omega 3/omega 6 ratio. Several placebo-controlled studies on dogs with these omega 3s show particularly beneficial effects on osteoarthritis, mobility improvement, reduced use of NSAIDs. Cat and small dog (<10kg) 5ml/day; medium (10 to 25 kg) and large dogs (>25 kg) 7.5 ml/day.
So a 500 ml bottle contains 100 daily doses for a small dog and 66 doses for the medium and large; a bottle of 1 liter is double that.

If assistance with cartilage reconstruction is necessary, the administration should preferably be continued for a minimum of 12 weeks.
