The story of Penny & Dislay
Dislay is Penny’s 28-year-old Westphalian mare. Today, she enjoys her retirement in the green fields and spring sunshine of Greece. But a few years ago, her situation looked very different.

“About three and a half years ago, my 28-year-old Westphalian mare, Dislay, became seriously ill. She was in so much pain that she could barely walk and leaned against the walls to support herself.
Several veterinarians and osteopaths examined her. She underwent every possible test, but nobody could determine exactly what was wrong. Eventually, through differential diagnosis, her veterinarian suspected that she was probably suffering from Lyme disease.
